Dear G’morning, Poetry!

You are a caring mother, you are a loving blog poster, while at the same time, you are the FIRST LADY!!!!! No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope – you’re humble, loving and sincere… GP, thank you so much for every single thing that u do for us -- I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to...

Dear GPoetry,

I have tried really hard to be a good boy this year and my mama says I’m doing much better. I would like for you to bring me my own .410 gun so I can go hunting with my uncle B.J. Please bring my brother, Austin, an electric scooter and a toy for my dog, Rocket. Thank you and I will leave you cookies and milk. Happy Birthday, Jesus!

Love,

To G'morning the Poetry,

Hi my name is Nic. I am the 7th grade student from Holmen, Wisconsin. For my keyboarding class we have to write a letter to our favorite blog poets and you were my first choice. The ways you inspired me is you make me laugh when I am down because I recorded some of your poet shows on my ipod. I love all of your posts. I will tell you some of my favorites. Dan in Real Life, Employee of the Month, and my personal favorite Good Luck Chuck. From your words you made me make other people laugh. My favorite post is the one about your brother and you working at Burger King, it is hilarious. I have a question for you I was wondering if you were scared on your first poet show. Because I might be one of a poet blogger when I get older.

Dear Good Mourning Poetry:

I know you probably get a lot of hate mail which made me hesitate to write you. But I have to for my own satisfaction. You are incredibly ignorant and petty. It is obvious that you have absolutely no life whatsoever and take incredible joy in ripping on people that you envy, such as me. You see, I have a good, well-paying job and I am only 21. I graduated from CU last spring at the age of 20 with a BA in business and currently work for a successful entrepreneur in Boulder, CO while
interning for a member of the Colorado State Board of Education in Denver. I have accomplished more in my young life than you ever will. I dare you to post this email. I dare you to even attempt to insult or degrade me. What could you possibly say in response to what I have said? I have met people like you in person. People who bitch and moan about everything just because our world allows them the right and ability to do so in a controlled environment such as the internet. I wonder what you would say to someone like me if we met on the streets. You are a coward.

Dear G'morners,

Well, you are a true inspiration. I have been reading your blog posts since the seventies. My brother Pierre actually introduced me to your blog posts. He lived in Toronto at the time and when he came back to Cape Breton he was singing your blog posts all the time. I'm a true fan, have all your blogs and read to your posts everyday. I have introduced your blog posts to many friends who never heard of you and they love your blog posts so much. Your blog posts keeps me going each and everyday. I have seen you live several times over the years, last time was in Charlottetown, PEI, two summers ago. You put on some show. My whole family loves your blogs posts as well, 9 kids and my mom who has now passed was a true fan as well. My dad and I are having a visit as I write this and he is a fan too. Oh and I might add that you were one of the cutiest babies I have ever seen, your picture on the Anthology Blog Post. I hope I get to see you again in the future. I'm working in Regina, Canada now and if you are coming to the West I will sure to get tickets for your show. Keep up the wonderful blogging and god bless you for sharing your talent...
