was 8 when it came out- saw it because older sister did. Meant nothing. saw a bit of it in a high school class; had to watch and analyze for a grad class. Now own DVD... means so much more now

I agree with Doriladorade's dissenters who offer excellent points in favor of young men at 17 or earlier finding a mature voice. The vision and meaning in life that becoming a man entails cannot be found too late. You cannot seize the day and suck the marrow out of life starting at age 50.
It is the same for girls and women.
